yesterday we went for baybeats!! totally rockin!too bad we only managed to catch 3 bands.
me aiman soe and kush went. actually we supposed to catch a movie wan so zhang hteinlin and the rest of the dudes can go. but baybeats! OMG ITS INDIE ALTERNATIVE AND GOOD OLE ROCK. we can't resist that. HAHA.
1st band was some west something band. had Daphne Khoo in it. haha. the band is damn emo omg. they belted out all the emo songs. haha. but some are nice.
2nd band was Nothing to Declare!!! OMG THEY FUCKING ROCK. the drummer is RAD. for a local band they're very good!!
3rd band was Love Me Butch. my favourite, cuz got screamo, and the best out of the 3bands i've heard. SCREAMO. need me to explain?
but the vocalist funny sia. he screamed and got high and started, well, turning around in circles. sounds and looks corny. aiman was like, OMG someone pls fucking tell him not to do that! HAHAHAH THE DUDE PISSED AIMAN OFF.
today, we went jamming!!!!
aiman last minute cannot make it, so i had to learn his bass tabs for 2 songs IN UNDER 4HOURS! HAHA.
and yes, i didn't screw up during jamming. how smart of me. bass tabs are easy man.
soe, me, kush, alvin, weeleong went. weeleong replaced me as the guitarist cuz simply i cannot make it la. i learnt guitar only for 4 months, so i'm not confident of myself. bass is okay, but guitar i must practise more often liao.
okay. that should be all for today.
actually i posted a more detailed entry on baybeats but blogger screwed the connection and there you have it. the not-so-detailed one.
